WE FOR THE FUTURE
 The main objectives of the alumni association are:
• To bring the old students of Marangi Mahabidyalaya under one forum for exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members.
• To conduct seminars, conferences, workshops, endowment lectures and other academic activities and also to keep in touch with one another of the College faculty, non teaching staff and students.
• To create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies and honour former students of the College.
• To advise and interact with college and College Governing Bodies, and Associations of other academic institutions on matters relating to promotion of higher education, training and management systems and thereby promote the welfare and status of the College.
• To collect funds by subscriptions, contributions, donations and gifts from members, non-members, Governments and other organisations and well-wishers for furtherance of the above objectives.
• To render financial aid to deserving poor students studying at the College.
• To render financial aid to deserving alumni in cases of extreme compassionate circumstances.
• To bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the College and its Alumni.
• To organize cultural and educational programmes and also to conduct Alumni Day celebrations every year.
• To help the Alumni to get advice from the College on various problems and job opportunities that they may come across in their work and real life.
• To carry out such other activities as may be necessary for furthering the above aims and objectives.
Alumni’s Significant Contribution to the College:
The Alumni Association has provided the helping hand to the college by setting up the college Gate from the collection of funds from Alumni of the College. In the last 3 years a sum of Rs. 3, 08,007/- (Three lakhs eight thousand seven rupees) has been contributed by the various alumni of the college for the betterment of the institution.

Notable activities of the Alumni Association:

In the last three years( 2019-2022) The Alumni Association has been contributing significantly to the institution through different activities which may be mentioned as follows:
1. The alumni Association organised the Stone Laid Ceremony of the College Gate on 14th November 2019.
2. A Plantation drive at the College Campus was also organized by the Alumni Association to strengthen the Greenery in the Campus at the same day.
3. Felicitation programme for the founder Principal was organised by the Association on 6th April 2021.
4. Felicitation programme for the Principal of Marangi Mahavidyalaya (Degree) has been organised on 4th December 2021.
5. Alumni Association of Marangi Mahavidyalaya has organized various Prizemoney competitions such as Jyoti Sangeet Competition, Essay writing and extempore Speech Competition among the UG level students for the Pre-Celebration of Silpi Divas on 12th Jan 2022.
6. Alumni theme song is a song or melody strongly associated with the emotions of Alumni. A beautiful theme song has been composed by Prasanta Borah, 1st honours graduate (Department of Economics) and the song has been recorded at ‘Jhankar’ Studio Bokakhat on 15th Feb 2022.
7. The Alumni theme song has been released by the Alumni association on 22nd February 2022 at the digital room of Marangi Mahavidyalaya.
8. Prakton Chatra Chatri Samaruh (Alumni Meet) has been held on 26th and 27th February, 2022 at Marangi Mahavidyalaya to maintain positive communication channels with the Alumni for keeping them informed about the achievements of the college, making them part of the institution’s present and future, not just its past.
9. The College Gate has been inaugurated by Puravi Sharma, the Zila panchayat chair person (ZPC) of Marangi on 26th Frebruary, 2022. The college gate has been set up by the Alumni association collecting money from the ex-students of Marangi Mahavidyalaya. It reflects the maintenance of positive relationship of the college with Alumni.
10. A remarkable Alumnus, Sri Pradyumna kumar Gogoi, who has won the ‘Munin Barkataky award” for the year 2021 for his book “Chaki”, has been felicitated by the Alumni association in on 27th Frebruary, 2022.
11. “Marangial” the Magazine of alumni Association, edited by Sri Pranjal Das, ex-student of Marangi Mahavidyalaya, has been unveiled by Arnab Saikia on 27th Frebruary, 2022 on the occasion of Prakton Chatra Chatri Samaruh (Alumni Meet) 2022
12. The Alumni Association has organised a Cultural Night Programme on 27th February, 2022 on the Occasion of Prakton Chatra Chatri Samaruh (Alumni Meet) and invited Siddhartha Sarma (famous as KK from Beharbari Outpost in Rengoni Channel) as a Glamour Artist for the Programme.
13. Mr. Prasanta Bora, an alumnus of Department of economics and First honours Graduate of the college, has given a special lecture on fishery work as a employee of fishery Department on 18th June 2022 on the occasion of Farewell programme of 6th semester Honours students of department of Economics.
14. Pranjal Das, a member of Alumni Association Marangi Mahabidyalaya (Degree) and Assistant Teacher of 1 No. Butolikhowa Borbalitup L.P.School, has donated some books to the Central Library of the College (4th July, 2022).
