OBC cell in the college was established on 12th April, 2022 with the purpose of empowering the OBC communities in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from Government agencies and other sources. The Cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students.

OBC cell in the college was established in the academic year 2019-20 with the purpose of empowering the OBC communities in the college. The college takes special interest in facilitating financial support to students from these communities from Government agencies and other sources. The Cell is always engaged to solve the various problems of OBC students.
Objectives:
Following are the important objectives of OBC cell.
- To give awareness of various Scholarship program of state and central Government.
- To council and guide OBC students about various issues and help them to manage academic activates.
- To deal with representations received from other backward classes students regarding their admission, Scholarships and other similar mater in the college.
- To resolve problems related to OBC students.
- To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
The committee composition of five members meet at least one a year and submits report to the principal on OBC students against reservation norms, admitted in general category, complaints and references reported by the students, financial assistances received from the state and central Government etc.
